The New Gmail - Better Than Before

suddenly today, while browsing my Gmail, this notification pops up at the right side down corner, telling me about the new look of Gmail, after clicking it, it says, that soon, everybody will be updated to this new look, you can try this first, so within seconds I switched it over and applied my favorite "turf" theme. The new look - Simply Awesome, so clear, so professional...

The previous look was cramped with so many things, looked as if, the page was patched time and again, just to introduce functionality, without caring about the design elements, lately after the introduction of the "black line" on the Google's homepage itself sometime ago, the entire Google bouquet seems to be going this design change.

I spotted these elements earlier in the Google Plus, then Google Docs, then the Google Accounts, Now Gmail, looking forward to YouTube, Blogger, and other app suites. It suits well, the entire plethora of applications being governed by a single style statement (can be said to Apple Inspires.. :P)

Earlier Gmail had its own style, YouTube was all the more same since it was brought, Orkut (Sucks!) but totally different, blogger entirely different, and Google home page, well no style at all there, but this looks, sounds and feels great. So I will know the next time when I am on a Google Network site. :)

Cheers!

PS: I forgot to mention, the Gmail sidebar is still errant, and I hate the concept of auto-sliding sidebar to reveal the labels (I have deployed more than 50 labels, to stay organized...), hoping a patch there soon.
