Recently I needed to shift my host and was damn kicked off by the competition in the market, with so many hosting brands and schemes I was worried where I could host my high traffic sites. I was earlier at AwardSpace, which offered me hosting at $20 under the Oktoberfest promotion in 2010, but after that they wanted me to renew it for $12+/month, though I never had problems with them, they had a bit of down time every month, and I was a bit reluctant to pay them that much, where as other hosts of much higher brand value were cheaper than this.

It took me around 12 days to zero in on HostGator, yes they are hosting all my 30+ websites right now, But Coming to this decision was not easy, as you see so much competition while searching for webhosting itself. 1. Web Hosting Pad: there prices are awesome, just $1.90/month, they are very hard to resist. The reality is somewhat different, 95% members at Warrior Forum said that they were fakers, they have nice web hosting plans, but when you pay for it, they are gone, and after the money back guarantee expires, they kill your hosting saying, your websites were using too many resources, the money is forfeited and you are gone!… doomed!.
2. Fat Cow Hosting: Nice Prices and at par reviews, fine with them, the reality, many complain that their servers are slowwwwwww!.. kick them out!
3. Blue Host: Nice popularity, reasonable plans, nice finds. The real reviews were actually very nice, buts some complained of sluggish servers, and indecent support. Moreover their website does not have a lot of info.
4. HostGator: Nice Discount Coupons (But the Prices are already $9.94/month). The reality, everybody said… 100% people said their support was solid, there support forums were awesome, and you will never have a problem, I signed up for a month initially and believe me it was very rare that in my 10 support tickets, which included hectic tasks like reinstating databases and troubleshooting with files and hosting components, they never took longer than 45 minutes, it was 3 hours only when the domain was not redirecting properly, that too was an error on my part. I was in love with them, and I paid up the entire 2years cost upfront, they are brilliant webhosting company, and if you want to know their popularity, check Alexa, Google, anyone, they are the best toppers. I am happy!

They are pretty much you could ever want; they will give you everything, solid support, solid forums, stable servers, fast setup. Just in love with the gators.
